I've just bought a set of 16" Nimrods off Nathan D (on 106owners)
As soon as they come through I'll be dropping them straight off to the powdercoaters and getting them done in Gloss Black again. Just need to buy a set of Bolts, the black metal valves and some gloss black nut covers now
Pics of the Nims;

Hopefully I should be ordering the 20mm spacers for the front to match the ones at the back and I'll be ordering some tyres as soon as my first payment comes through for my loan...ker'chin
Going to be wrapping them in 165/45 or 165/40 tyres so I get a subtle amount of stretch on them.
Thats the stretch with a 165/40 tyre
#174: Re: Uz's SWGT No.1 of 1...updates =] Author: Ruffy_206, Location: BristolPosted: Tue Mar 16, 2010 5:49 am ---- nice is that on a 6.5 j wheel yeah?

Yeh that is on a 6.5J wheels. I can't find any 45 profile 165 width tyres. But 165/40 Nankang NS2 are £43.22
#176: Re: Uz's SWGT No.1 of 1...updates =] Author: Ruffy_206, Location: BristolPosted: Tue Mar 16, 2010 5:56 am ---- is that cheaper than the 45 yeah if so do that then.

Well I've measure the gap between top of arch and the tyre with my RS wheels and I can go down 100mm all round. But I'm going to get the car sitting on the Nimrods and get coilovers fitted. That way once I've got it on the ramp I can play around with different heights to get the right one. But I'm thinking about 90mm up front and 100mm at the rear

I'm looking at doing the following;
- double din headunit in centre console (this will be done after FCS)
- Alpine 6.5" Comps in front doors
- Alpine 2 Channel Amp to power comps
- Alpine Type R 5.25" 2/3 Way in rear doors
- Alpine Type R 10"/12" sub in boot
- Alpine monoblock amp to power sub
Hopefully I'll have the speakers and amps in and used in conjunction with my IDA-X001.
Also going to be looking into having the headrest done with monitors in and have a 360/PS3 hooked up to them...otherwise I'll have a 10" roof monitor hooked up to the console.
#180: Re: Uz's SWGT No.1 of 1...updates =] Author: Uz, Location: No Man's LandPosted: Wed Mar 17, 2010 9:51 am ---- Been upto the Pug garage firstly to find out about my Armrest and there saying they're having problems with certain parts :S But also I've ordered a set of 16 Nimrod bolts (Thanks to CD-GTi for the part numbers) and also a set of Partner wash jets.
The partner washer jets clip into the scuttle panel and will be perfect for what I'm wanting to do as I'm having the hole flushed.
Also change of plan on the front end of the car. I'm no longer having the bonnet recess flushed as now that the grille I was making has fubared, I'm just gunna keep it standard with a badge and just have it sprayed gloss black.
Other then that I need to order up;
- set of Nankang NS2 165/40 R16 tyres from camskill tyres
- Ultralite Black Bolt-In Valves
- Black bolt covers
- set of locking wheel nuts
Also I need to try and find a way of getting hold of a set of blank centre caps for the Nimrods so I can get some custom gel centre badges done for them.
