I think there was alot of flexing in it as it wasn't strengthened in anyway so it's just flexed and cracked down one side.
I've got a spare grille and a spare section but I haven't got the patience to do it again.
With the armrest I'm as baffled as you mate. There going to chase it up for me by Friday when I go up to collect the bolts and washer jets. I told them about you ordering one and they said yeh but had no idea about mine
I've had it before though. Had to wait a month before I got a key matching fuel cap locking mechanism as they were having problems with it.
#183: Re: Uz's SWGT No.1 of 1...updates =] Author: Uz, Location: No Man's LandPosted: Fri Mar 19, 2010 5:23 am ---- Just bought a 'Built, Not Bought' sticker to add to my collection and also my Black bolt-in valves for the Nimrods.
Also going up to the Pug garage to find out about my arm rest and also pick up my bolts and washer jets
#184: Re: Uz's SWGT No.1 of 1...updates =] Author: Guy, Location: Solihull, BirminghamPosted: Fri Mar 19, 2010 7:03 am ---- Ultralite Black Bolt-In Valves FTW! I have them fitted on my rota alloys quite impressive set but at £20 I think its most craziest buy I ever had done!
#185: Re: Uz's SWGT No.1 of 1...updates =] Author: Uz, Location: No Man's LandPosted: Fri Mar 19, 2010 10:15 am ---- I think there worth it be nice and discreet yet still be able to have them full fuctioning. Did want flush valves but they aren't really suited to wheels.
I've picked up the bolts and washer jets...
set of 16 bolts
partnet washer jets
..not sure how I'm gunna fit the washer jets but will be worth it once I've done it. Otherwise I'll be buying aero wipers with the washer jets built-in to them for £22. Worth a go for a fiver.
Also armrest should definately be here next week...which I'm not to fussed about.

I thought exactly the same thing when he handed them to me.
I've been looking at place at where to mount my PSI boost gauge and have thought I'd like to have it build into the top of the centre console. I'm planning on getting rid of the display at the top of the dash so I thought why not place it in there and have a build made around it.
*I'll just mount the display else where like in the glovebox out of the way*
If there's anyone who can build this for me please let me know. I'm going to be using a 52mm gauge and would like it centrally placed in the mouth of the top section.
#188: Re: Uz's SWGT No.1 of 1...updates =] Author: Uz, Location: No Man's LandPosted: Sun Mar 21, 2010 6:21 am ---- Well I've just bought Guy Richie's Bonnet Bra off him as I've wanted one for a while Also Nimrods have been dispatched and are currently at the Gloucestershire depot so should have them this week
Also should have quite a few other packages this week inc. my valves and nut covers and built not bought sticker
Just need to order the tyres now and then get them to powdercoaters. The powdercoaters will be fitting the tyres for me once they've powdercoated the wheels
#189: Re: Uz's SWGT No.1 of 1...updates =] Author: Uz, Location: No Man's LandPosted: Mon Mar 22, 2010 8:15 am ---- Bought Vanman's wind deflectors off him yesterday so those should be here aswell this week
But I've had 2 of a few parcels came through today;
Black Ultralite Metal Bolt-In Valves. Weight sweet f.a.
Only problem is that when I took them out to have a look I found that one of the valves had one of the nuts that lock it in missing (last one in the pic)...so I've contact the company I've bought them off and waiting for them to get back to me.
Also had my nimrods have come through;
I knew about one of the wheels have some mishaping on the inside lip which I aint to fussed about as I'll get that sorted but other then that the faces are mint with no kerb marks
But going to get these into powdercoaters on Thursday so they are ready for tyres.
Just got all this to come through now;
- Bonnet Bra
- 'Built, Not Bought' sticker
- Black Wheel Nut Caps
- Wind Deflectors
#190: Re: Uz's SWGT No.1 of 1...updates =] Author: Uz, Location: No Man's LandPosted: Mon Mar 22, 2010 11:54 am ---- Been raining like mad all day and just stopped so I thought I'd wack the Nimrods on the car and see how they sat etc.
Tried the wheel with just the 20mm spacers so it was sitting at ET0 and it was sitting flush with the arch.
Completely forgot to say that these wheels are actually off a 406 so the offset if ET20.
Anyway got them bolts on and found that there was exactly the same amount of movement in these between the wheels and spacer as there was with the RS wheels so off they came and put the 5mm shim.
Wheel was sit sitting on the hubcentric spigot and this time it was fine with no movement.
This time it was sitting at ET-5 and alot of poke exactly what I want
And just a pic to give you an idea on how they look on the car
In both of the pics I was holding the camera up against the tip of the arch. So where the moonstone end thats the very edge of the bodywork.

Will look mint. Camber shims for the rear I reckon

I wish I could get camber shims for the rears mate...I really do as I'd definately do it.
Need to get one of the spacers fitted up at the front to see how they looks and sit. If they sit the same I'll definately just be ordering a brand new set of spacers to match the backs.
#193: Re: Uz's SWGT No.1 of 1...updates =] Author: Ross, Location: West MidlandsPosted: Mon Mar 22, 2010 1:56 pm ---- First pic looks great, second pic at ET-5 looks overkill though, you'll never tuck the tyre under at that offset surely!

The pic does look like there a massive amount hanging out of the arch but it's really not that much. I'm gunna see about if I can do something about this little problem of the movement with just the 20mm spacer...maybe find some 1mm shims as that really all it needs.
#195: Re: Uz's SWGT No.1 of 1...updates =] Author: Ross, Location: West MidlandsPosted: Mon Mar 22, 2010 2:07 pm ---- What movement is that then? Apologies if you've already explained and I missed it. What tyre sizes you going for?
