I was going to charge £200 all in for the set.
These would include;
- 4 doorcards (3 or 5 door)
- 1 glovebox door
and then they would be retrimmed in either faux suede or faux leather (selection of colours available) and this would also cover the cost of materials and time taken as my dad and me would be doing them.

They didn't give me a price as I pay on collection...but the price I was given on my wanted thread it's under £60 so I'm happy. I might use it for a little while in my XSi as I always have my right arm suspended in mid air during long journeys lol.
#94: Re: Uz's SWGT No.1 of 1...updates =] Author: Quarmbo, Location: Bristol & LeicesterPosted: Mon Mar 01, 2010 9:57 am ---- Why your right arm? Doesnt the arm rest get used by your left arm?! Under £60 isn't bad, seen some non-genuine ones for sale for more than that

Yeh sorry I do mean my left arm just not thinking when I was typing lol. Maybe I need to learn my left and right lol. But yeh there are aftermarket ones which are £60+ on eBay from what I've seen and been told. Thought seeing as I'm keeping the car as OEM as possible I might aswell get a OEM armrest.

Thanks Iain Still got a long way to go but I'm hoping to get it into bodyshop this weekend.

The Headlinings still do be done but the a & b pillar covers are now done and ready to go in. Headlining is going to be done one of the evenings this week so all the interior can be in before it goes off to the bodyshop.
Yeh the GT bumper is finally going on Have had to take it off as I don't trust the bumper being on the car as it is as it could get nicked (have had stuff nicked from the driveway in the past )
I'm about 90% sure the car will look alot nicer with it on with the RS wheels once it's sitting on its back side. But the wheels are only temp as I'm waiting on this deal to go through on the new wheels
But get that bumper on...me wants to see what yours looks like with the bumper on You managed to get all the side strips and also the rear bumper mouldings done?
#101: Re: Uz's SWGT No.1 of 1...updates =] Author: wagsy206, Location: Coatbridge, LanarkshirePosted: Mon Mar 01, 2010 1:54 pm ---- havent got the rear mouldings done. i just had a spare set of side strips, and i painted them months ago, but just havent fitted them.
the mesh has been bodged on just now, just so i could see how it would look meshed. but i want to see it on the car . so while the other half is at her lunch with her workmates, ill throw it on and get some pictures .
hope you get it all done and sorted man. it'll look good when its all back together .

Last couple of days I've had abit of time to work on the car so thought might aswell work on the badgeless grille.
I got in all even etc and have got it into a coat of filler primer so I can get back and sand it down so I can get rid of all the crevises that have been created. I've still got abit of a way to go with this...but this is how it looked earlier.

Headrests are leather.
#105: Re: Uz's SWGT No.1 of 1...updates =] Author: Uz, Location: No Man's LandPosted: Wed Mar 03, 2010 3:27 pm ---- After having a headache from the spray and rubbing down etc I sat down for a while and looked through a few possible options for wheels seeing as it's very highly unlikely that I'm going to getting my MAMs back anytime soon.
A few options. Bare in mind I have put down a deposit on a set of wheels but they'll only be made if a run with enough orders go through.
These are my options
Keskin KT1 - 7.5Jx16" ET20
Keskin KT4 'New Racer' - 7.5Jx16" ET20
Borbet A (Flush Centres) - 7.5Jx16" ET20
What does everyone else think?...any alternative ideas please let me know
