Yeh could do...I'm still trying to work out where to join as the only place thats convienent is M1 J19 (M6 join). Dan did say about join at the Stretham services but it's 30 miles in the wrong directions.

Lol...I need to know what time I need to be at FCS to get onto the stand so I can work around that. The run from mine is roughly 80miles or 1hr 40mins.

My postcode is WR11 2PL and the only convient place I can find is the M6/M1 Join (M1 J19 iirc).

I'm not gunna get to Rockingham at half 7...not a chance. Think I'm gunna have to have a rethink about this.

On a plus side, I have started to stick some of my stickers to the car...only on the tailgate glass atm.

First up...black Neverbeen sticker.

and secondly...show my support with a bright pink 206info sticker. Now I know this is meant to be on the side windows but I thought I'd do something a little different.

I've been following this from the start.

I have to ask, when do u plan on getting it painted and on the road?

Seems like all u are doing is changing the wheels every now n then?

As Geoff said I'm waiting for the car to be picked up and taken to the bodyshop but I need a hell of alot of stuff perfect for it goes in. Stuff like me setting the ride height so that I can see if the arches need to be rolled (which at 90mm they will be) and also have it fully road safe. The guys going to be driving the car to the bodyshop as the car will not go up a flat bed transporter. But also he's got plenty of other cars from us to be doing first. I've missed the deadline for when I wanted it ready for which was FCS, so just have to wait till trax' now.

Also with regards to the wheels I'm always changing them around as the look I'm trying to go for is going to be based all around the wheels and how they sit on the car. Having the right wheels for the car will be what makes the rest of the car. I know I've had quite a few sets but it's all been a problem at the start with Uni and student loan meaning the wheels had to be sold in order for me to get through the year so I've had to rethink everything and going down the OEM+ Slow & Low Route.

I'm trying to do all the little nitty gritty things while its still at home so I don't have to worry about them being done once the cars back as tbh it's already been 6 months and I want the car on the road now. As soon as the bodyshop has said I need to just mop it I'll be booking it into VOSA for a VIC test as I don't want to be waiting around for an appointment, if it comes to it I'll pay the extra to have the car put through asap.

That flocked camo car must have cost a fair bit to have done but looks awesome...once I've got the cowling around the steering column sorted I'll be having that and the centre console flocked in black.

Update time...took me 2 hours to take the seats out the 406 and still need to go back with my dad to get all the wiring loom for them and also the memory wiring loom and ECU.

Any here the drivers seat...had to dismantle the side of it just to get to one of the bolts.

Passenger one sat in the car...just to see what sort of room I've got and it's not much. It's gunna be a really tight fit.

Yeh definately mate...I'm gunna have to get some custom brackets/subframe made up for the seats even thought the rails are both in the same place...only problem is that the mounting points are in different places. Should be too hard. Going to be using the bottoms of a pair of standard seats so we can get an idea of what we need to do and height etc.

Been trying to find a way of removing all the seat wiring loom from the coupe as it's all intwined with the rest of the loom. So had a look on eBay to see if I could find a interior loom cheap but found this...406 Seat Conversion

But only problem is that they are £65 so I think I'm gunna have to strip back the loom to get it out...doesn't seem to hard though as I only need to find the live and earth.

Got the sports arch extension come through today so got them fitted to see how they look on the car Smile

I think the wheels need to come out more Razz

Also found out that the distance between the bolts is exactly the same on the 406 runner on either side as the 206 seats. All I need to do is remove one bracket and drill a hole in the runners so I can bolt it all in. I may need to make some spacers for the seats as the motors do sit level with the runners the floor may cause it to not move back and forth as much.
