Any idea how badly it affects insurance prices? Been thinking about it myself but might have to wait another year or so Sad

Remaps are difficult to find should you be in a crash, very very very few insurance companies will read the ECU configuration

No, that's the point - it feels completely different, less flat spots, less turbo lag and even feels like the turbo range is a bit wider.

100% worth getting it done, my best mod tbh and hardly has any effect on the MPG!

was thinking about getting my car remapped petrol 1.4 16v can they do as much with the petrol models?

It will smooth out the throttle response, and flat spots. But you won't see nowhere near the gains a HDi will. A small ounce of torque and a few horses.

I have 1.4 16v petrol, and wanted to do k&n but my mate said that it would jus suck in loadsa air and make the poor worse and that a good remap would be better along wif a better exhaust.

Could we fit a turbo to 1.4 and would that make a differance?
