The OP's car is NON plexed, there wont be a button on the left of the instrument cluster
Dash dimmer is down next to the headlamp leveling wheel on non plexed 206's.
Its gonna need a new back light bulb for the display

Nope.
Speedo surround unclips.
One torx screw holds the instrument cluster in.
2 electrical plugs to unclip.
Twist the bulb holder out & replace the bulb

#10: Re: odometer display Author: wull, Location: killin, scotlandPosted: Wed Jan 19, 2011 6:39 pm ---- i think it's a 286 bulb which is easily available on ebay but do i need ones with the holder or not.the write up in the to do section mentions having to turn the bulb to remove but the 286 bulb looks like a simple pull straight out type of bulb.
or i might be completely wrong and thats not the correct bulb.
