#1: Fuel pump symptoms Author: Kersh, Location: Bridgnorth, Nr WolverhamptonPosted: Thu Jan 20, 2011 3:01 am ---- how do you know if your fuel pump is underperforming?
my accelerator needs a little blip to make the car start 90 percent of the time.
when i change gear the revs seem to rise slightly still while the clutch is down.
before i start the car and turn the key so that the fuel pump kicks in, instead of the standard whirring noise it clicks as well.
what does all this mean?
help is appreciated
Joe
