#1: Speedometer Back Light Author: Sorelini, Location: LincolnPosted: Thu Jan 20, 2011 8:20 am ---- Hey,
I've searched through the posts the best I could so sorry if i am repeating a prior post!
The speedometer on the dash all works fine but when i switch my lights on the backlight doesn't come on, this makes driving at night a 'mare as i cant see how fast im going!!
Has anybody else had this issue? I think it may be a fuse but have no idea which one, I'm going to buy a Haynes manual at the weekend but until then any ideas? The glovebox light is also not working
Car is a 2000 Hdi 2.0
Thanks!

good luck

#14: Re: Speedometer Back Light Author: ma.langan, Location: Leyland, LancashirePosted: Sat Jan 22, 2011 4:51 am ---- that sounds like fuse f15 or f20 one or the other (inthink) but it will probably vary
#15: Re: Speedometer Back Light Author: Sorelini, Location: LincolnPosted: Thu Jan 27, 2011 10:13 am ---- Okay i changed the fuses in F22 and looked at all the others, and they are fine, but nothing has been restored!
things that are not working (that i have noticed) are:
Speedometer back light
number plate lights (only just noticed that was out after checking everything)
panel below the stereo - all buttons have no back light
glove box light.
