2 Litre HDi Engine Cover

I need to put my engine cover back on asap... as the standard clips are pretty poop.

Has anyone got any ideas of how to attach this cover without spending £20 on standard parts that will just fail again?

Cheers!

I made some 1.5" lengths of threaded rod, and torque sealed them into the original positions so they poke through the engine cover holes. Then used wingnuts and washers to secure it down. I find it easier to get on and off now, and it doesn't seem to loosen either.

Gotta agree with above, Scrappers, even if they keep breakin u should be able to pocket about 10 clips without the scrapper noticing
