Car died on me

Hit a pothole and the car died. Everything shut down at 60mph and I had to find somewhere to pull over with crappy brakes and no power steering. Cursed away and rang the parents for help and left the car thinking I killed it.

Came back with my da who rang the mechanic. The car died due to a safety mechanism which acts as a killswitch if the car is in an accident on the Hdi engines.

So..pressed the red/orange button down and BAM car roars back to life.
Hope this helps if you hit one of the "few" potholes on our roads.

if you have hit one that hard it would be worth taking the wheel off and making sure its straight if the inside of the wheel is bent just get a leather hammer and beat it as straight as possible if the outsides bent its a little more difficult, you might also need the wheel re balancing
