the steering goes heavy cause there's no assistance to move the oil about so you've got to force it around yourself Razz

though it is drivable but not easy lol

Pfft, my daily driver has no PAS with a 4:1 lock to lock ratio. And no girly ABS brakes or airbags. Laughing

Got towed 15 miles without the engine on. The steering wasn't the worst bit, the brakes without the servo are the worst by a mile.

Yeah, 4:1 is nearly twice as light Wink

What's this ABS you speak of? I'm still on keep-fit windows..

But twice as many Popeye impressions whilst parking. Laughing

ABS = cadence braking for girls. Men like us use their calf muscles.

I do have power windows and mirrors because I'm posh. Laughing

car with failed PAS will be heavier to steer than a car with no PAS

Its because you have to force the oil around the rack Wink
