Author: jkearns554, Location: irelandPosted: Wed Jan 26, 2011 12:14 pm ---- ok so my 206 is a 1.4 hdi, and i was looking if anyone maybe knew why it switches itself off after hitting some bumps, normally only happens when the engines cold, and last night it also put the fuel tank down by about a quater anyone know the reason to this problem, help urgently needed

Signs are poor idling, black smoke,loss of power or cutting out at slow speeds at roundabouts bumps or wotever.
They £40 new on ebay but youd probably best take it to garage could be some other reason though few things , just a guess , when was it last serviced?
also make sure air filter and fuel filter arent all blocked up, also need to get engine mount looked at and sorted if its loose

my mates saxo had no suspention travel that bumps used to set it off all the time
