also forgot to add went to the scrapyard today got myself a new standard bonnet vent to replace the mesh and also 2 ph2 bootstrips which was going to keep 1 for myself but profits profit at the end of the day Laughing

Now have big brakes! fitted my 307 calipers with 283mm discs today, also got intouch with an auto electrician yesterday who was meant to come round today to sort the wiring to get it running but didnt turn up and cant get them on the phone GRRR!

Still have to fit new track rod ends, wishbones and coilovers once i give them a clean

Big update!! Got the car back from the auto electrician today and can confirm that the engine runs lol, next up mot hopefully nextweek.

been working on the car all weekend changed wishbones, suspension, track rod ends so all it going well apart from the possible mother of all problems i came across today click HERE to see

Lol cheers mate got there eventually, I'm looking for a set of vortex again to finish it off then they won't be getting changed again. How's the honda? You glad you switched?

nice car i like what u have done and i like the colour of it just a couple of questions Smile
1) can u tell me where to get that splitter from on your front bumper i would like 1 as it makes the car look lower .
2)where did u get your wheel arches from as i also want some but pug 206 dealer want £126 and e-bay want £75 i was onli wanting to spend about £30-£40 max .

Did you sort out the creamy substance? I assume it was because it stood for so long like you thought?

as for the accord, couldn't be happier with it man. sooooooo much better than the 206 in every way. for a big petrol engine, it's not bad on fuel either.

but as said, you manage to get it going smoothly yet?

Yeah will definitely get the bumper strips cc'd once i get some sports bumpers.

Hi mate the splitter is from the older renault laguna, try scrapyyards/ebay for one and the arches i got on here for £30 i think it was and just painted them myself, just have to keep checking for sale section.

found out it isnt water smells like petrol in the oil, cant be worn pistonrings as it had a compression test so im putting it down to not being driven and just sitting idling, only time will tell i suppose but is running fine just now.
