#1: Removing front seat - Author: marone, Location: Leeds, UKPosted: Sat Jan 29, 2011 5:28 am ---- Hi all
I'm attempting to remove my front passenger seat but I've hit a little problem.
Under the seat there is a green clip which looks like it holds the wiring for the airbag. How on earth do you get this clip off?
Cheers
Phil

Very gently as the securing clips break easily
They are a tight fit for a reason

Yep just like everything else on the car!
Managed to do it in the end. Not sure if it was correct but i did this:
Lifted the red clipy thing at the top of the green plug and 'gently' pushed on the latch on the other side whilst pulling on the plug from the front. Came off easily in the end, but i guess its always easy when you know how.
Right now i need to figure out how to fix this damd seat!
Cheers

However i've been stopped in my tracks again. I can't get the back plastic cover off the seat. I can see its held on with a plastic latch towards the bottom corners but i cant get it to move enough to unlatch it.
Has anyone had any experience dismantling a 180 seat? If so how did you do it?
