#1: starting problem Author: saiefovech, Location: TuNisIePosted: Sat Jan 29, 2011 11:15 am ---- hello all ,,, i bought a new key cover for my 206 GTI and i just changed the electronic component from the old one to the new key cover ,, and suddenly when i wanted to switch on the car it does not start it just tell me engine immobilizer fault .. so whats the problem with it ?? and when i use the spare key for the car it works .... so please advice me

Without that transponder chip the car wont start

Open the old fob up & you should see it.
