#1: PowerFlow Exhausts pt 2 Author: JDave, Location: Airdrie, ScotlandPosted: Sat Jan 29, 2011 12:38 pm ---- Hi again,
I asked a while ago and I was only looking at getting the backbox but going to treat myself and get the full shabang.
What does the full system include? How much?
Comments wanted

#3: Re: PowerFlow Exhausts pt 2 Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sat Jan 29, 2011 1:09 pm ---- Cost me £277 for a catback system with twin exit tail pipe, then £40 for a decat
#4: Re: PowerFlow Exhausts pt 2 Author: Lee180, Location: ScunthorpePosted: Sat Jan 29, 2011 1:14 pm ---- A full stainless includes/can include the manifold. the company that does powerflow pipes round here will do a engine back exhaust system. but you are looking at some serious ££££. you really can tell the difference between between cat-back and just the backbox.
#5: Re: PowerFlow Exhausts pt 2 Author: JDave, Location: Airdrie, ScotlandPosted: Sat Jan 29, 2011 4:58 pm ---- Very varied prices here.
#6: Re: PowerFlow Exhausts pt 2 Author: DJ-, Location: UKPosted: Sat Jan 29, 2011 5:00 pm ---- they are varied by where you go mate. The place in Cov want 190 just for a twin backbox but the place near kidderminster for example want £140. No contest there!
Best of emailing/phoning some local powerflow suppliers and compare their prices.
#7: Re: PowerFlow Exhausts pt 2 Author: JDave, Location: Airdrie, ScotlandPosted: Sat Jan 29, 2011 6:57 pm ---- I thought powerflow were all the one place and so all the prices were the same, hence my confusion.
#8: Re: PowerFlow Exhausts pt 2 Author: Lecktorious, Location: ScotlandPosted: Sat Jan 29, 2011 7:01 pm ---- They are franchises, so prices and quality will vary where you go.
FreeFlow (CAS) in Shotts would be a good shout.

by the by, any issues with getting one for a diesel? my step dad think so but i know nothing
#10: Re: PowerFlow Exhausts pt 2 Author: Lecktorious, Location: ScotlandPosted: Sat Jan 29, 2011 7:14 pm ---- Never heard of any issues - stainless steel systems are far better over standard systems which tend to rot quite quickly with the British weather conditions.
I've got a Magnex stainless steel GTi 138 (previously Edwards) backbox fitted, no issues whatsoever.

Deffo get a De Cat and maybe 2" bore size instead
just try and go to a powerflow dealer with good reviews
#12: Re: PowerFlow Exhausts pt 2 Author: Lecktorious, Location: ScotlandPosted: Sat Jan 29, 2011 7:20 pm ---- Why increase the bore? He's not increasing the amount of exhaust gasses.
