#1: Right Side Repeater / Indicator Flashing Too Fast! Author: adzar, Location: UKPosted: Sun Jan 30, 2011 8:03 am ---- As title really - the right side repeater is flashing about twice as fast as it should. The left side repeater is working fine as are all the other electronics in the car. It's an 05 1.4 sport.
I recently changed the headunit, but it only occured about the second time I used the car after doing that. I've done a BSi soft reboot, but that didn't solve it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you checked the bulbs ?

So is this supposed to happen so that you know when a bulb has gone?
I looked for a 'how to' for taking out the rear light to change it, but couldnt find one. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

open boot, look right, pull side carpet back. should see a black plastic wing nut type thing. unscrew it. pull light forward slowly untill you see the plug. locate the tab, push the tab in while pulling the whole plug out

Weird.

No the amber didn't fit, because the two little knobs are in the wrong place. They had to be at opposite sides as they are on the clear bulb.

You can get amber bulbs in different fitments if you know where to look

Hoping you can help???? Thanks in advance...
