clutch touching steering column?

When the clutch it down, I have noticed I can feel the steering wheel column move if I am turning the steering wheel at the same time. Is this normal?

It feels as though there should be carpet stopping the clutch meeting the column? Am I pressing the clutch down too far?

It feels like it is grinding away at the pedal or my shoe! lol

I've done this once in my 206. Just get some smaller feet.
