well i always say, when asked about mods, "not that im aware off"
its all toss, as its law for us to have insurance, them t***ers can write any small print in they like, even only aloud to put petrol in ya car on a wensday.

If you think about it, it does make sense that some stickers could affect insurance.

They might attract unnecessary attention to your car potentially making it more attractive to thieves and therefore a claim.

A "206Info" sticker isn't likely to attract a premium.
"I've got the worlds most banging audio system in here" might.

i think its driver discretion. i had a 106 with JBL stickers on front and back. and i crash it. told insurance i had crash, but decided not to have the car fixed and brought a new one, but when they asked 'have i changed the car in any way that affected the performace' i said no, and when they asked 'i have made any modifications that may of affected my sight and avoided it the crash' i said no.

so unless your putting '206info' across your line of sight on the windscreen (which would be stupid) i guess your not breaking any rules.

Car Insurance companies will take any excuse to avoid paying out, however they need to give reasons for doing so.

For having a sticker in your window is entirely disproportionate Confused

The point I tried to get across was it's better to declare it, and any other change/mod, than to be sorry later on.

Officially yes, you are supposed to tell the insurance company, especially if you have one of these "performance enhancing stickers"

I haven't bothered telling my insurance company about my stickers, I would only let them known about tints, if I had them.

Damn I need one of those. Where can I get it?

Can you not just take stickers off if you need to claim?

anyway, i ordered a couple of 206info stickers and they came today but i was wondering if they count as "modifications" as in...if i put them on do i have to notify my insurance company that i have window stickers?

just wanted to make sure before i go making more daft mistakes

Why not ring your insurance company and ask them?
