it was looking scabby, and as im poor, i just used shoe polish lol

You should have put it in warm soapy water let it soak, give it a little scrub (with nothing abrasive) and then applied your 'shoe' polish lol.

Or some WD40...

Shoe Polish????? That going to give you nice smell in the cabin, I wouldnt of used that.

I use Chemical Guys New Trim on mine

it was an impulse thing, ive used shoe polish on black plastic trim before and it looked ok, i didnt think of the heat issue, oh well, illl find out if its smelly tomz lol

Ah my comment was based on, it's the way i'd do it and the before pic was the only one showing so it to me looked dirty still haha, I can now see the after looks much better but it wouldn't be my first choice of products Razz

Looks nice, I'm guessing Back To Black would be just as good and less of a smell than shoe polish

its just a shame i didnt have, kids skuff lol even easyer to use lol
ive tried back to black stuff, and wasnt all that impressed.

im more of a " what can i use instead, sort of guy" id use lemon juice if i had a lemon lol
