Hey guys,
Ive never dabbled in the alloy world and was just wondering do you just take your steelies off and put the alloys on? What are the indications for the use of spacers? What are spacers?lol And finally, will the wheel nuts from my steelies fit the alloys? Sorry guys, alloy newbie!! Joni

you need alloy wheel bolts.

wheels has 4 things you need to know; ET(offset), J value(width), PCD and bore size.

standard 206 alloy fitment is 28ET, 108PCD and 65.1 bore.

spacer is use to decrease offset; for example wheels with 28ET+10mm spacer = 18ET.

1. yes you just take your steelies off and put alloys on

2. spacers are needed when the offset of the wheels is too high (wheels need to be spaced out away from hub to fit)

3. i think your asking what the implications of using spacers are, if you are, there aren't any for normal road driving they are fine

4. no your steelie bolts won't fit with alloys

I mean how do you know if you need to use spacers, will the alloys just not fit? Or will there be a problem when you try n drive without them?lol Joni

there is loads of reason to use spacer.

spacer can change PCD, bore size, offset of the alloy.

that's why i said look for 108PCD, 28ET and 65.1 bore= perfect fit for 206

If they don't clear your calipers you'll need spacers. If they rub on anything you may need spacers.

All spacers do is let the wheel sit further out from the hub.

If the wheels have an ET of more than 28 or so, you'll need spacers for a 206.
