#1: de badging Author: Lee180, Location: ScunthorpePosted: Wed Feb 02, 2011 8:34 am ---- silly question i know, iv already de-badged a 206 before, using nail varnish and a evaporating solvent cleaning spray i found at work. the finished result looked good, but that was on a gun metal gray 206, i was just wondering what people used on a blue 180 ? just before i go and rub nail varnish all over the boot

im sure stucky stuff remover is safe to use on it and iv heard people say it works a treat
and you could just leave the 180 badge on i did this with mine at first then decided it was better to let people ponder what model i have

Get it warm enough and te dental floss will cleanly remove all of the sticky foam without leaving it on the paintwork.

Thts what i used when i took the black plastic off between the drivers window and the rear window and all the glue was left there. Worked a treat and took it off really easy. Just wash it off after

but now i look back, heat does seem like the easy way out

In my experience of paint, nail varnish remover is excellent stuff....for removing paint, I hope you washed it off thoroughly, otherwise you'll wake up tomorrow to some "lack-of-paint-of-car-idness"
