Ive wrecked the o/s mirror on my 2000 Roland Garros which is an electric folding mirror like the GTi.

Does anyone know if the folding mech (which still works) can be fitted into a standard electric (non folding) mirror?

Also will a standard electric mirror be compatible with the existing wiring? I'm working on a budget here so any help would be appreciated guys

I would have thought so tbh, its just a guess but the non folding ones are pretty stiff to fold manually

Yh they are pretty stiff. I want rlectric folding mirrors. On this fact, can the electric mirrors be fixed? My bro in law has a 407 with auto folding mirror (show off) and one has had a alight knock and doesnt fold.

Will have snapped the motor.

The motors aren't sold separately
