so if i were to fit them and dipped goes off with main
could i get the car MOT'd and fit the relay later. or would it fail?
#4: Re: Angels question Author: E5GDM, Location: EssexPosted: Thu Feb 03, 2011 5:30 pm ---- It wouldn't fail. The relay is added to keep the dipped beam on to put more light on the road.
#5: Re: Angels question Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Thu Feb 03, 2011 5:32 pm ---- 50% of the light sources in each lamp must work.
The reason the frosted lamps illuminate more of the road when full beam is activated is due to the reflector.
#6: Re: Angels question Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Thu Feb 03, 2011 5:36 pm ---- 50% surely 100% to pass the MOT?
#7: Re: Angels question Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Thu Feb 03, 2011 5:41 pm ---- You have two filaments = Dipped and Main, thus 50% each
