does anyone know where it is on a 2l 2003 hdi because i think it needs changing
and is it expensive or even neccesary??

Its under the drivers side windscreen. As you look in the engine bay, along the top left hand side, just under the screen. I have no idea if its necessary but im changing mine today, going to pop to Halfrauds to get it.

If you get it off egay it's cheap as chips. Do it when you service the car, its always nice getting fresh, non-mould-spore air coming into the car Smile

should be changed same time as oil change , only about £7 and easy to change.
There is a how to ... on here on this .
