#1: Where Does This Bolt Come From Author: NathanG, Location: Ebbw Vagas (Wales)Posted: Sat Feb 05, 2011 6:41 am ---- Due to the savage knocking underneath/at the front of my car i decided to have a look this morning despite the absolute misery that is Welsh weather. Took the wheel off, had a browse and came across this laying quite happily on my wishbone. My question is where is it from and what does it do apart from rest on wishbones.

#3: Re: Where Does This Bolt Come From Author: PugJH, Location: NorthantsPosted: Sat Feb 05, 2011 7:10 am ---- Sure its something like that, holds the joint to the arm :S
Pretty sure its important and shaped like that so it doesnt fall out.
Top bolt must have come loose and fell off or snapped

What's the bolt that holds the driveshaft middle bearing into the engine mount look like?
#5: Re: Where Does This Bolt Come From Author: mattievrs, Location: LeicesterPosted: Sat Feb 05, 2011 7:18 am ---- its the bolt that pulls and holds the drivers side driveshaft intermediate bearing in the housing

#7: Re: Where Does This Bolt Come From Author: Edward, Location: In the garagePosted: Sat Feb 05, 2011 7:30 am ---- If that's where it lives you can just about see where it comes from on this picture...
It's just below the shaft bearing...
