#11: Re: GTi 180 Cruise Control... Author: D4NTP, Location: Not Leeds or its surrounding areas!Posted: Sat Feb 05, 2011 5:10 pm ---- Well thats probably true, i bough the other half a new scenic and that pretty poorly made, has cruise though. Joking apart, loved the twingo, took a GT out and wanted to get her it, just can't fit the buggy in the boot, she's a nanny so bit difficult to justify. Back on topic, i don't see the logic behind buying a 180 er sorry 160, and using it for long journey's. icould think of a lot better cars for that kind of work that come with cruise! look at the mpg figures, cruise knocks a couple off that so it would work out awful mpg pointlessly.

#14: Re: GTi 180 Cruise Control... Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sun Feb 06, 2011 10:36 am ---- Well if you weren't a lazy t**t and read the other thread it wouldn't have gone off topic. You have had time to read it 26hours has past since you 1st post and last.
Basically...
You'll need a miracle.
You need to find if the ECU has the feature for cruise control unlocked. Then you'll need it actiavting in the BSI. Then you'll need the stalk. Then you'll need a red brake switch.
