#1: Long locking wheel bolts?!?!?? Author: MrrNoName, Location: UK PostPosted: Sun Feb 06, 2011 6:25 am

hey all, my alloys require 10mm spacers to get the correct offset. purchased this and all is good:

10mm spacer kit with 16 extended bolts
cgi.ebay.co.uk/HUBCENT...27b2314652

however i cant find a set of 4 extended locking wheel bolts ANYWHERE?!

anybody got an idea of where i can get a set?

Thanks

I think if you get 'alloy wheel' locking nuts they are longer than a normal bolt because they are for alloys, not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure that's the case Smile

www.speedshack.co.uk/Wheelnuts.htm

them guys do them, but if i was you i would of gone for a stud convertion it would be cheaper to get the locking wheel nut and easyer to put the wheels on too

They came with my alloys when I got them second hand, guy before me used them with 20mm spacers so I'm pretty sure they'll be fine Smile

pretty sure they wont be long enough. the ones in the picture have 19 threads on them, they are only 25mm long. so if the dude used them with 20mm spacers his bolts would barely fit in the hub???? you must have longer ones dude. my bolts have 26 threads on them Razz

found that wolfrace do extended lock bolts, but they only do 40, 42, 46 and 50 mm. my bolts are 35mm Sad

would it be a problem if I used longer lock bolts? say 40mm. would the bolt just come further out the other side or would it come up against something before its tight?
