#1: steams up far to easily!!! Author: wobblycat, Location: walesPosted: Sun Feb 06, 2011 3:01 pm ---- My windows (all of them) seem to steam up SO quickly meaning i have to have to warm heater on the windscreen 24/7 its so annoying! i have cleaned the inside and outside of the windows with windex and i have tried the fog stuff from halfords but it seemed to make it worse! does anyone have any advice?

Plus its more likely to happen with all the rain atm, get some silica pad things and stick them in the door handle thing and cup holders

Also keep the fan speed on 1 when not in car. Never turn it off as this can steam it up also.

i hate to go against what youv said here but i would advise not leaving the heater on number one constantly, this is the main reason for heater retisitor (rear stats) burning out and sometimes damaging heater wiring. you wouldnt believe how many of these i change over the year.

Turn it off (i.e the pic of the arrow going from outside of the car, to inside). The amount of people I pass on the motorway with all their windows steamed up is ridiculous.
