#1: Engine Movement Author: dtm_martin24, Location: BasingstokePosted: Sun Feb 06, 2011 6:42 pm ---- My 206's engine seems to have a very rough idle and the engine moves about alot in the engine bay. I replaced the cambelt yesterday and found the left engine mount was loose and i've torqued it up now and it is better but it still moves alot. The engine seems rough even compared to my girlfriends mondeo tdci. Any Help Would Be Appreciated.

other that that it will be a worn mounth , give it a good pull to see if they is much movement

There is also a slight burning smell just after the engine is started. Checked injector o rings and they are fine. By rough i mean it feels like a tank at idle but as soon as i touch the throttle it is fine.
