As per the title, drivers side bearing is howling, getting it fixed on Monday afternoon but still need to drive to and from work (20 miles each way) for the rest of the week. Noise has been getting steadily worse over the last week and i dont want to run the risk of the whole hub getting damaged.

sometimes they can last for ages making a noise but i wouldnt risk it if it fails it will either lock your wheel solid or the wheel will fall off!

Yah really not worth the risk imo, knowing my luck it would go wrong aswell.

My bearings were goosed as well. Its not safe because the pressure of driving is on the wheel at unusual angle, so if you keep going your wear will be uneven. All it takes is a pot hole and boom, its even worse

Shoulded really drive it. unless you going to a garage near you to get it fixed.

If it completely goes then you could do alot more damage and cost more to fix it.

Wouldn't chance it with a wheel bearing, unless you are driving to to garage replacing it Laughing
