Well Picked up the 206GTi managed to knock a fair bit of with the help of dillon telling me roughly how much it was worth as needed a slight bit of work done to it such as new centre pipe and a few touch ups on bonnet. It came with full Peugeot service history and only 48'000 miles and only covered 9'000 in the last 2 years as it was sitting around most of the time as it was more of a weekend caras the owner lived in camden london and commuted to work by tube, Engine is clean as a whistle but not clean enough for me so got to get around to degreasing and steam cleaning it and then on to the Carbon shiny bits Laughing .

So far it has cost me £69 for the new centre pipe and service kit so not to bad i think Laughing

Had a slight run in with a kerb in the first week someone in a banged up corsa b decided to speed past a police camera and thought he could out run a BMW Fast road spec estate i dont think so somehow Surprised well as he jumped the lights and smashed into the car in front of me i instinctlivly slammed on every brake possible an managed to do a 90 degree handbrake turn and missed him buy about 12 inches but in turn managed to hit the corner of the kerb with my rear offside wheel and after the acident when I drove away thinking I was unscathed lol I heard a distinctive knocking sound from the rear so down to the garage I went.

Turned out to be the rear torsion bar, wheel bearings had actually managed to knock them selves out so had no bearings in at all and th bushes in the rear were fooked ha ha so had to fork over 275 quid to a mate who managed to sort it trade for me lucky for me he decided to uprate the rear to the GTi 180 torsion bars and poly bushes.

The car as standard

Well thinking of Full Blueflame exhaust, Raceland manifold and race cat, Bilstien B6/B8 Suspension and K&N Panel filter is on its way, Will be looking at ordering some new grooved brake discs and Ferodo DS2500 Pads all round then braided hoses to reduce brake hose flex once the fluid has warmed up a bit. then probally go on and on from there Laughing
