basicly my girlfriend has a 2000 ford puma 1.7 we have just had a new water pump fitted once fitted heaters work fine now the car has sat over night there is no hot air comming from the heaters

any help will be appricated thanks Smile

Air lock or the heater control valve has packed in.

Does your interior light work?

If the fuse goes for the light the HCV gets no power and won't work

try running the engine with the coolant top off until the cooling fans kick in, if u hav no heaters now, u may hav a faulty heater control valve witch is in bulkhead

Heater matrix.

It went on my old ZS and it's probably the same for this as they are made out of plastic iirc.

If it was working before the pump was replaced I reckon air lock.

If you just had the water pump changed why dont you take it back to where you had the work done??????????
