#1: stop light Author: 206racer, Location: derbyshirePosted: Thu Feb 10, 2011 1:19 pm ---- just had cambelt,water pump and oil and filter changed on girlfriends car.We have been out in it(i was driving)when the stop light flashed once.Is this because of the work been carried out or is there another problem?Should i go and get it read for any codes?

Have you checked brake fluid level?and does stop light come with hand brake: (!) light?

Thread hijack sorry, I know this sounds stupid, but when I turn my key in my ignition and start the engine the engine management and stop light are on but go straight off, and my car runs fine. Does this happen on every 206? sorry if I sound thick.
It is normal when engine turned on and everything is ok all lights go off.but depending on software version stop light wont come on on some 206's.but engine amber light must come on before start.
