loud knock

ive changed drop links bottom arms and strut top mounts but still got a knock when accellerating and one when decellerating am reluctant to change drives as it feels like eng mounting but cant see anything wrong with them any ideas or known eng mount faults known any help be great thanks in advance

yeah, could be the 'dog bone' gear box mount. under the car in the middle.
An old clio trick was to fill the gaps with tiger seal to stiffen it up....not sure if the 206 has a silmar design though??

not much really only does it if i set off fast or brake sharp

thanks for feplys all the other stuff needed replcing anyway ...pat....yes has holes in bush which could be filled i think worth a go as dont want to spend anymore i dont have to on it where can i get and what is tiger seal not heard before is it body seal

its probably engine mount, the mount mount is goign by sounds of it, you can get one for £5 from a breaker, worth changeing the gear box mount as well as there relativly easy to fit.
