#1: its doing my nut in Author: black31, Location: n yorksPosted: Sun Feb 13, 2011 4:35 pm ---- hi am hoping to get some help with a problem with our lasses 206 ,its had new drop links and bottom arms both sides the wheel bearings are fine but.....when you accelerate from a low speed there is aloud clunk only once until you brake fairly hard then there is another my first thought was engine mount so had a look and all seem ok pulled around by hand and bars =nothing ,handbrake hard on lots of revs to try pull away rocking up and down =nothing mmmmmmmmmmm maybe drive shafts empty carpark full lock both ways =nothing i am running out of ideas can anyone shed any light or pass on any thoughts that may help i would be really gratefull thanks in advance hope some one can help

I changed mine 6 months ago and had to change the passenger side one again last week for the MOT, must have been a dodgy pair. Have you checked the bushes.
