hi all,
the past couple of days i have noticed my temperature gauge playing about, like earlier me and my mate pulled up in a car park and she was sittin at about 80C and then like 15 mins l8er i turned it bk on and the gauge went to 90C right away. so this makes me think that shes ok it just seems to be a fault with the sensor maybe? and then again when we were driving along she was just sittin over 90 then just drops to just above 80.

but when i think about it i got neons put in under the foot wells and my dad wired them up to the wee light in the ash tray thing infront of the gear knob, but i wouldnt think that could mess things about, could it ?

That shouldn't cause any problems I have them too. Does just sound like the sensor. I would leave it for now its not going crazy. You will need a new cluster at sme point though

What's a 'cluster'?

Presumably you mean the water temperature gauge ... so, 90 degrees is perfectly normal.

If it doesn't overheat (and the fan works) there's nothing wrong with it.
Check your antifreeze level.
