#1: Inside blowers dont work. Author: GTIboyracer206, Location: Leeds.Posted: Mon Feb 14, 2011 4:09 pm ---- Hi there, the inside blowers for the heater dont work. This is one of the jobs i need to get fixed before i start using the car, but im a bit stumped as to what it could be. Only just bought the car and it has recently had the clutch done and the blowers havent worked since. What could this possibly be?

#13: Re: Inside blowers dont work. Author: Rick_A, Location: PerthshirePosted: Sat Feb 19, 2011 5:23 am ---- Hello guys, first post.
I have just bought a Y reg 2001 206 2.0 hdi. The fan blowers do not work through the climate control unit, but the fan is working when given a live feed so has been bypassed and put onto a switch that turns the fan on or off so i have the blower on full until i get it fixed. All other buttons and fucntions of the climate unit work. Car also has aircon.
From this I gather that the heater resistor has failed, does anyone have a part number for the part to replace it? The dealers have a choice of 4 resistors that it could be and have asked me to bring it in. Cheers Rick

#17: Re: Inside blowers dont work. Author: Rick_A, Location: PerthshirePosted: Wed Dec 21, 2011 12:16 pm ---- Bringing back up an old thread, i have finally got a new blower, and plugged it in and it doesnt work
My car has the digital climate aircon unit, all the functions work on the panel just the fan doesnt want to work.
Fuse looks good and the blower motor with the resistor built in is new.
Any advice on what could be stopping it, could the wiring be burnt out somewhere?

Anyone? I cant really afford to have the car put to a garage to be sorted, especially after spending £180 on the new part.
