even if they physically fit you will need a remap to get the flow correct.
and not to mention you can't just fit 1 180 injector with 3 138 injector in line.
#8: Re: GTi Injectors Author: leigh_boy, Location: EastbournePosted: Tue Feb 15, 2011 12:36 pm ---- ok to the remap didnt really cross my mind, and i wouldnt replace just 1 i would do the lot
#9: Re: GTi Injectors Author: Edward, Location: In the garagePosted: Tue Feb 15, 2011 12:53 pm ---- Will physically fit but the flow rate will c**k things up.

#12: Re: GTi Injectors Author: intermilan206, Location: MalaysiaPosted: Mon May 26, 2014 12:08 am ---- GTI138
▪ Static rate to 3 bar, n-heptane unit [g / min.]: 141
▪ Resistance [Ohm]: 14.5
Part number: 1984 E2
GTI180
▪ Static rate to 3 bar, n-heptane unit [g / min.]: 187
▪ Resistance [Ohm]: 14.5
Part number: 1984 F3
Will physically fit but the flow rate will c**k things up.
Yet to remap mine and the 180 injectors have been fine, no engine management lights or erratic jumping rev's.
#14: Re: GTi Injectors Author: Edward, Location: In the garagePosted: Fri Feb 13, 2015 4:48 pm ---- That doesn't mean everything is right.
#15: Re: GTi Injectors Author: 206gt160, Location: BlackburnPosted: Fri Feb 13, 2015 4:51 pm ---- Very true, who would you recommend to remap when I get it booked in.
