But it'll be back in a few days, after new oil sump, oil and oil filter.
Getting new radiator done while its there as well as there is a tiny hole in it, so may as well get it done while its there. OUCH!!!!

#3: Re: Awwww look my poor car :'( Author: hobnob48, Posted: Tue Feb 15, 2011 5:54 am ---- DAMN! That is one long tow rope! Could fit a bus in that gap.
#4: Re: Awwww look my poor car :'( Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Tue Feb 15, 2011 5:55 am ---- i thought that but wasnt sure if it was just me
#5: Re: Awwww look my poor car :'( Author: hobnob48, Posted: Tue Feb 15, 2011 6:02 am ---- Yeah I bet pulling off at a roundabout would be great fun!
Im guessing a pot hole or bump got the better of your sump then.
#6: Re: Awwww look my poor car :'( Author: 00budham00, Location: IpsPosted: Tue Feb 15, 2011 6:30 am ---- I thought that too, done the job though! lol. That was his shorter tow rope!!
Yeah not sure what I hit there are both pot holes and speed bumps on private road where my horse is, wouldnt have heard it, as woulda had tunes going.
Very expensive mistake to make
#7: Re: Awwww look my poor car :'( Author: Rob2859, Location: HalifaxPosted: Tue Feb 15, 2011 7:05 am ---- I towed my mate 3 times when he bust his sump. Although I used a tow pole. A lot easier, safer and legal Would have though a 206 sump would be hard to hit as its level with the subframe anyway
#8: Re: Awwww look my poor car :'( Author: 00budham00, Location: IpsPosted: Tue Feb 15, 2011 7:15 am ---- looks lower then subframe on mine, my car was lowered 110mm so that may have something to do with it.
Yeah shoulda used a tow pole, didnt have one, but dont tell on me.
#9: Re: Awwww look my poor car :'( Author: Harry, Location: StaffordPosted: Tue Feb 15, 2011 7:44 am ---- Pretty sure it's lower, hopefully mine won't get damaged but it probably will it's just a matter of time.

Ropes are good for tug of war though. done that before at the expense of my new tyres. Don't think you would have much of a chance with the land rover though
