The size you need for the 180 alloys is 205/40/17 and the cheapest price to buy them at the moment is eBay as I have been looking myself over the last few days for prices

The only thing i can suggest is reverse park and never go forward into a space as your more likely to kerb them doing this.

Take your time parking, I take ages to park every car I have to ensure I get no kurbing, I always adjust my mirrors and reverse park.
The last 4 sets of alloys Ive had on 4 different cars haven't been kurbed because of this.

It also stiffens the steering up, so less chance of accidental kerb scrapes
