I bought a set of 17inch 206 GTi 5 Spoke Alloys a couple of years ago for my 206 XSi, i am having a problem with kerbing though because the edge of the alloy sticks out past the edge of the tyres.
I am about to get the alloys refurbished good as new but would like to buy a set of tyres that will help solve the problem of kerbing.
Does anyone know the size of tyres i should get?

I seem to remember the standard Pirelli P 7000's having a bit of a lip or Toyo T-1R's.

I've got the P7000's on at the moment but there's no lip on them

The only reason i'm asking here is to get advice instead of going to a garage and asking them, in the end they only want to make money and the chances are they would not have the tyres i needed without pre-ordering or they wouldn't know which ones would fit best... a wider audience on the internet with possibly people who have the same problem (although with maybe better parking skills) is sometimes a better option... maybe i chose the wrong website in which case nevermind

the best advice you could get you just got on here from meady, lowering your mirror so you can see how close you are to the kurb.
tackle the problem directly by improving your parking skills instead of trying to find the easy way out.
i dont get what the problem is
