basically iv just been ringing around, asking about modifications for my 180, and got a surprisingly good offer.

trial of the new cams there making.

basically, i buy the cams and the piggybacked ecu, and ill have free fitting and mapping session. apparently if i go ahead with it, it will be the first car in country to have theses certain cams and will be featured in a magazine.

more information is been emailed to me a.s.a.p.

Not worth the cost per gain

not mean to put you off but think twice about it.

what kind of figure you want after the mod?

at the end of the day, horsepower are limited on a 2L NA engine, you will never get more than 250bhp on normal throttle body or might be 280bhp with ITB; not to mention you will need a major engine overhaul and good work on exhuast+inlet to achieve this.

and i don't understand why you need piggy back ecu for just putting in new camshaft.

any idea about the gain? profile of the cam? headwork require? are they mean to be better than the existing camshaft in the market?

what cams are they, bear in mind the cams are already upgraded from the gti 138 engine so don't be expecting crazy gains.
