ok mate! thats definately my most sucessful picture isnt it! when you make the front page too, you can critique my photos!
Anyway, It hardly ever snows down here in cornwall, so when it does, it's pretty nice to get a pic of it! I'll replace them for you
Addaz sorry for not kissing everyones ass on thier taste, but I just don't like it. I just think its stupid to make a car worse, everything else looks alright, I love the debadged look, and I really like what he did with the 180 badge. I just don't get the whole 'I've ruined my car by practically removing the suspension' thing.
and everytime you see a lowered 206 like this.. it's usually an xsi.. so thats what springs to mind.
Sorry, I don't mean to be a d**k, I just don't get it.
The more I look at the rest of the car the more I like it, just not the rear end.
#35: Re: Pics of my 180 debadged and lowered Author: Antix, Location: WorcesterPosted: Thu Feb 17, 2011 1:01 pm ---- I lived in Oldbury - and this 180 looks totally in keeping with an area so close to Birmingham city centre, where there's a 30mph speed limit, few speed bumps, and cameras on every corner.
Adz's white HDi was Lodey's old car, there are a few threads on here about it

In your oppinion it's too low but then you may think my oppinion of buying a 180 and making it look good rather than buying a 138 and wasting money making it fast "like a 180" and wasting money making it look "like a 180" is wrong but then again there's so many reasons why that doesn't make sense lmao
That's ownage right there LOL!
I think the car looks nice im thinking of having my wheels referbed! how much you pay to get yours done? if you dont mind me askin? 200?

Now thats a better reply, i wish people would stop coming across like complete ar*eholes, yes state you opinion but in a nice way
I like debadging to but it is a 180 at the end of the day, make it proud and keep the badge (plus it matches the wheels so its a win for me). Yes lowering a 180 like that is a bit silly as they are the fastest model available, do it to a 1.1/1.4 yes but 180 why?
But as the OP has stated he is looking for style, so fair play it looks nice (needs stance though)
Break the mold as VO5 says

#40: Re: Pics of my 180 debadged and lowered Author: danjames, Location: oldbury westmidlandsPosted: Thu Feb 17, 2011 1:09 pm ---- £20 for quarter litre of base coat and £28 for extra shiny laquer and a day in my garage alone with my compressor, had all my wet and dry and scotch pads from work for free

??? Did u mean, raise the back or lower the front??
#43: Re: Pics of my 180 debadged and lowered Author: Resolutionary, Location: South West LondonPosted: Thu Feb 17, 2011 1:24 pm ---- I love the car as a whole, and the debadged front suits it no end. I'd love to have the balls to get plates like those but I probably wouldn't be posting on here much longer as the SW London police are hot on that sort of thing and I'd end up the boyfriend of a burly, hairy robber in pen somewhere.
And I think what people tend to mean is that there's a trend with lowered 206's of reverse rake, which is not only ultimately damaging to the handling but also looks a little butchered. Like others have said, try and find a way to level it out, either by lowering the front or raising the rear. It'll look 10x better and youll probably notice a difference in handling at speed too.
Apart from that, its friggin' lush.
