#1: performance Author: puggy206, Location: scunthorpePosted: Fri Feb 18, 2011 10:35 am ---- My 206 1.4 has been losing its get up an go alot recently, like in two days its gone from a pretty quick accerlating car (i know its not the best but still pretty good) to quite slow and the throttle response has just dissappeared i put my foot down and nothing happens (compared to its normal self) and in some casses when i put my foot down the car feels like its struggling (im in the right gear and right revs for power, it just doesnt seem to wanna work)
Any suggestions as what could be wrong seeing as this problem seems to have come overnight

:whathesaid:,NGK are bad for pugs, cause missfiring and lot of problems, start from the plugs, and see how it goes

Mine felt dead sluggish the other week but that was due to cleaning and re-oiling the filter....a bit excessively. Have they cleaned the filter at the service and over oiled it? If your getting excessive air in their that could slow things down a bit...check for leaks. Unlikely to be anything big if its only just come on over the past few days. Most likely something you have played about with.
