What non-plexed means? I read something before, it is car with simple screen (peugeot 206)? One line screen with clock and no more.

Non-plexed is the type of electrics the car uses. Basically normal basic electrics, whereas multiplexed uses CAN-CAN and CAN-VAN which is faster and allows data to travel quicker and also means less wires.
Non-plexed is on 98-01 models, and multiplexed is from late '01-

I have a non plexed 206 W reg & I have the hazard breaking hard lights.
#23: Re: diagnostic reader and location Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Tue Feb 22, 2011 10:10 am ---- Really?
Might be a high spec only one then, I've done a few non-plexed 206's and never seen that option
#24: Re: diagnostic reader and location Author: MrBSI, Location: What's it to you? ? ?Posted: Tue Feb 22, 2011 10:13 am ---- Autowarn on a non plexed 206
Never heard / seen that mentioned before.
#25: Re: diagnostic reader and location Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Tue Feb 22, 2011 10:19 am ---- Neither have I. I have literally 6 options I can enable/disable on mine
interior light flasher
central locking
high frequency remote
alarm
cruise control
and other one forgot what it is
As the non-plexed don't have customer options available, its just the configuration.
#26: Re: diagnostic reader and location Author: Username, Location: NewportPosted: Tue Feb 22, 2011 10:28 am ---- Yes they have come on twice, once on the M4 on the way down to bridgend some so & so cut me up braked very hard & hazards came on with the hazard light switch flashing away in the car & the other time in my street when a kid ran out infront of me.
#27: Re: diagnostic reader and location Author: vjohn82, Location: MidlandsPosted: Tue Mar 29, 2011 3:21 pm ---- I have a Pug 206 1.4 W reg too... what diagnostic tool would I need? I know that they do not use OBD II... so which one do they use?
