#1: From standard to Present (project car) Author: pnut_man, Location: MiddlesbroughPosted: Mon Feb 21, 2011 1:00 pm ---- My 206 gti from buying it standard to how it is now.
enjoy.
standard as the day it was made.
few badges removed
now begins the tweeking
rear lights out and tint spray on
lights on
now for the badgeless grill
grill still black (it is china blue now but havnt had chance to photo it)
Back seats out. no need for these bogging me down
new shocks and springs all round (30mm drop)
phase 2 boot strip bought and sprayed (fully debadged)
That is how she is at the moment. i plan to lower it another inch or so all round and then put some halo lights in black on it.
It also has a K&n Pannel filter (for what its worth) a Griffiths quickshift and a stainless steel exhaust with no mid silencer and a janspeed backbox. and with no back seats it realy does sound amazing
stay posted for more mods, but i am not going to be putting much more on it as it is more or less how i want it now. (i will put up a pic of the front all painted and looking angry)
Front. smooth and painted grill

#3: Re: From standard to Present (project car) Author: kieron, Location: in the housePosted: Mon Feb 21, 2011 1:19 pm ---- looks smart besides front and rear lights
#4: Re: From standard to Present (project car) Author: MutilateTheDead, Location: DerbyPosted: Mon Feb 21, 2011 1:21 pm ---- Is there Much difference if you take the weight of the rear seats out?
#5: Re: From standard to Present (project car) Author: A18NHH, Location: MiddlesbroughPosted: Mon Feb 21, 2011 1:40 pm ---- I'd loose the red GTi badges imo, but thats just my 2 cents
Nice to see someone else from Middlesbrough
#6: Re: From standard to Present (project car) Author: pnut_man, Location: MiddlesbroughPosted: Mon Feb 21, 2011 3:07 pm ---- i would say taking the back seats out is like removing a person from your car. if not a tad more. i think its a good mod, but only if you dont need them. i personaly dont need them because every one i know drives. makes the car sound much beefier from inside aswel.
i think the gti badges on the side look well sporty, but each to there own ey lol. Last edited by pnut_man on Tue Jul 24, 2012 7:30 am; edited 1 time in total
#7: Re: From standard to Present (project car) Author: Mike_XS, Location: SouthamptonPosted: Tue Feb 22, 2011 12:24 pm ---- Surely the back seats don't weigh around 80kgs?
#8: Re: From standard to Present (project car) Author: pnut_man, Location: MiddlesbroughPosted: Wed Feb 23, 2011 6:51 am ---- They are surprisingly Heavy but not that heavy. About 60kg. I also have no spare which is another 15kg or so. So it sheds the weight off. Not practical but i. Couldn't give a shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

Haha I knew someone would say that. It looked exactly how yours looks now. It just needed a few subtle modifications.

Yours looks allot smarter than mine mate, up close mine is rough as f**k!!! get a change in yours and i can see the point of losing the rear seats then!
