If your 100% sure the fuses are ok & the BSI has been rebooted correctly then either:

Send BBA the BSI unit for test & repair

www.bba-reman.com/uk/index.aspx

OR

Get it towed to the Peugeot main dealer / someone with Peugeot Planet diagnostic kit.

I'll bet a million pounds its a blown fuse. Did you take them out and check each fuse, or just look by eye? Do you know which is the Stereo fuse?

I would have thought Lee and Mr.BSI would have told you which one it was!

Fuse list is:

On the forum.

On the Peugeot website in the online owners manuals.

In the owner's handbook that comes with the car.

Not only that, but if he's short circuited the electric system, it could have blown any fuse as the power surge could have gone anywhere. Was his own daft fault for not disconnecting the battery.

You did have the BSI shut down correctly & battery disconnected BEFORE you pulled any fuses?

You wouldnt pull plugs out from inside your computer while its powered up, a multiplexed 206 is no different.

Its a software driven digital CAN VAN electrical system controlled by the BSI unit ( Built in Systems Interface which is the main brain )

Exactly what wires have been touched?

Did you test the fuses with a test meter or did you just look at them?
