#2: Re: Boot Swap Author: rttam, Location: devonPosted: Tue Feb 22, 2011 7:25 am ---- think you have to disconnect all the wiring inside the boot and pull it out throught the holes at the top dont think there's just a plug like on the doors
apart from that just the struts that pop off and the nuts that hold it on be careful though the tailgates are heavier than you would expect!
#3: Re: Boot Swap Author: Kersh, Location: Bridgnorth, Nr WolverhamptonPosted: Tue Feb 22, 2011 8:38 am ---- you have to cut your washer pipe which is pretty gay but you can tape it back together or something

#9: Re: Boot Swap Author: Jamie1337, Location: Dorchester, DorsetPosted: Tue Feb 22, 2011 12:51 pm ---- It's fairly simple. You'll need to do the following: Remove passenger side plastic boot panel (with the boot light in). Unplug the boot plug and remove earth cable too. Remove 3rd brake light and remove the washer pipe. Remove 4 10mm nuts holding the boot in place. Then, with help, take off the boot stuts with a small screwdriver as these will ensure the boot doesn't suddenly drop when removing, and will prevent damage to paintwork. Fairly simple, you've just got to cut the drivers side seal slightly (where it stays on the bodywork) in order to remove it though
