#1: Clutch/gearbox/drivesaft/bearings help please Author: sp5flys, Location: norfolkPosted: Sat Feb 26, 2011 2:18 am ---- Had my clutch replaced about a week ago, when i got it first back it was like a new car it felt quicker and quieter, I drove it a few days ago and it doesnt slip into 1st gear or rev without me havnt to be abit brutal, and when i take off in 1st it judder and when its rolling in 1st it isnt smooth, anyone got any ideas?

What makes you think its worth £500 if it was from a dealership, We are all human! just because they have the name Peugeot above their door doesnt garrentee their work anymore than the average mechanic!
If they can get away with and charge you for something that doesnt need doing then they will do.
Some people like to spend more on the repair thinking the job will be done better, i dont understand it!

last time i was charged 150 labour for doing the clutch
